GEOCACHING is a high tech treasure hunt using hand held GPS units and hunting "caches" using internet published co-ordinates and clues. This is a world wide hobby and takes us to places off the beaten track to places previously unknown to us.
It is an exciting hobby shared by thousands of like minded people who are interested in nature, earth structure and places of interest.
In the Geocaching world we are known as :- Aussie Pixie & Boulist44.
It's the end of September 2012 and we have just returned from Saint Malo Brittany where we found 21 caches in some wonderful places
Our total finds as of 30/09/12 are Aussie Pixie....394 caches in 8 countries
Boulist44........426 caches in 10 countries
So this hobby does get us out and about.
