At 7.30am on 29th June 2008 I set off for a walk along the lanes. About 5 minutes down the lane I saw a hedge with what I at first thought looked like cotton. I turned back to fetch my camera to take a photo for identification. It turned out to be spidermite and has since travelled to our hedges.

Whilst I cotinued with my walk and having my camera I thought Sheila and all the Poms at the garden club would like to be reminded of the hedgerows, so here it is,

Obviously the photos do not do justice to the delicate flowers but I do hope you enjoy them and they bring back fond memories of 'home'.
